Purpose of Processing

GAUMONT, whose registered office is located at 30 avenue Charles de Gaulle, Neuilly-sur-Seine (92200), France, operates the website www.elge1895.com a video-on-demand service. This site allows users to access our offer of audiovisual programs via streaming.

The data we collect in the course of our activity is recorded and processed in a customer database.

This database is used to:

• Manage the functionalities of the site and the application (favorites list, promotional codes, etc.).

• Analysis and marketing operations (improving the service according to user preferences, conducting user surveys, producing site/app traffic statistics, evaluating marketing campaigns): the legal basis is GAUMONT’s legitimate interest (article 6.1.f of the European General Data Protection Regulation), namely to improve our services and adapt them to the needs and habits of our users.
• Database retention for a period of 10 years: the legal basis is a legal obligation (article 6.1.c of the European General Data Protection Regulation).

Categories of Data

• Identity: email address, internal processing code enabling user identification.
• User-related data: user ID number, viewing data.

Data Recipients

• GAUMONT’s customer service department receives all categories of data.
• GAUMONT’s marketing department receives identity and viewing data; in this case, however, the data is anonymized.

Data Retention Period

• Data necessary for user management: for the entire duration of the service relationship, plus ten (10) years to meet legal obligations.
• Data used for loyalty and prospecting purposes: for the entire duration of the service relationship.
• Data relating to opt-out lists from prospecting: three (3) years.
